Agreement between User and www.stablebookgroup.com

Welcome to www.stablebookgroup.com (the “Site”). The Site is comprised of various web pages operated by The Stable Book Group (“The Stable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Your use of the Site is conditioned on your acceptance, without modification, of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein (the “Terms”). By using the Site, you agree to all such Terms. Please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records.
Site Purpose. www.stablebookgroup.com functions as an e-commerce site and corporate website for a book-publishing group.
Privacy
Your use of the Site is subject to The Stable’s Privacy Policy, which explains our data collection and use practices. Please review it carefully, as it forms part of these Terms.
Electronic Communications
Visiting the Site or sending emails to The Stable constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive communications from us electronically, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically (via email or on the Site) satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Children Under Thirteen
We do not knowingly collect, online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of 13. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

No Unlawful or Prohibited Use / Intellectual Property
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party’s use.
All content on the Site—including text, images, graphics, logos, audio/video, designs, and compilations—is owned by The Stable Book Group or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display or perform, republish, download, store, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission (or that of the rights holder).
International Users
The Site is operated in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you are responsible for compliance with local laws. You agree not to use Site content in any country or in any manner prohibited by applicable laws and regulations.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Stable Book Group and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, service providers, licensors, and suppliers from and against any losses, liabilities, claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (i) your use of the Site; (ii) your violation of these Terms; or (iii) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
Arbitration
Agreement to Arbitrate. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its applicable rules. The Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply.
Venue & Fees. Unless otherwise required by law, arbitration will take place in New York, New York. The prevailing party is entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, where permitted by law.
Class Action Waiver. You and The Stable agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
This section survives termination of these Terms. (Some jurisdictions limit arbitration/class action waivers—if applicable law renders any portion unenforceable, the remainder will still apply.)
Liability Disclaimer
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” THE STABLE BOOK GROUP AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE STABLE BOOK GROUP AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR DATA LOSS) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN SUCH CASES, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Termination / Access Restriction
We may, in our sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to the Site, without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Governing Law; Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York, New York for matters not subject to arbitration.
Entire Agreement; Admissibility
These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms posted on the Site) constitute the entire agreement between you and The Stable Book Group regarding the Site and supersede prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written. A printed version of these Terms and any electronically delivered notice shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings to the same extent as other business records originally generated and maintained in printed form.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. The most current version will supersede all previous versions. Please check this page regularly to stay informed of updates. Your continued use of the Site after any changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
