Siobhan O'herron

Siobhan O’Herron is a physician and mother living in New York City. She grew up on an old farm in the Hudson Valley, blessed with a back porch with a gorgeous river view full of birds. One Christmas in high school, she received a bird guide from her grandmother. Otherwise bored and stuck inside that cold winter break, she cracked open the book and discovered the endless entertainment of the birds right outside her window. Now a city girl, she and her son spend many weekends visiting home upstate. There, she is most likely to be found on the old back porch sipping coffee and birdwatching as many hours a day as her son will let her.
