Iconic characters—including Hannibal Lecter, Will Graham, Bedelia Du Maurier, and Team Sassy Science—appear throughout, alongside recurring motifs, such as teacups, clocks, and antlers (of course). Zillabean is an artist with a strong passion for fan art, creature design, comics and cartoons. Her work can be best described as a twist of American comic style mixed with anime influences, plus a dash of Looney Tunes. She draws inspiration from various interests ranging from television shows to video games to cryptozoology and the paranormal. She discovered Hannibal in the summer of 2020, and has remained a devotee since.
