Megan Pinfield
Megan Pinfield, MA, RCC, RCAT, is a registered clinical counsellor and Canadian art therapist, with more than 20 years of experience working in mental health. Since 2018, Megan has specialized in supporting riders who experience anxiety, fear, or trauma. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Simon Fraser University and completed her master's in counselling psychology at Adler University, where she also served as an adjunct professor for over a decade. Megan has postgraduate training in the neuroscience of trauma and collaborates with Canadian equestrian organizations to provide trauma-informed education for coaches and riders. When she is not teaching or writing, Megan enjoys the antics of her Morgan gelding in BC, Canada, where she resides with her family and two rescue dogs.
