Siobhan O'herron

Siobhan O’Herron is a physician and mother living in New York City. She grew up on an old farm in the Hudson Valley, blessed with a back porch and a sweeping view across the backyard and fields to the river in the distance, with birds everywhere in between. One Christmas in high school, her grandmother gave her a bird guide. Bored and stuck inside during a cold winter break, she cracked it open and discovered the endless entertainment of the birds just outside the window. Now a city girl, she and her son spend many weekends back home upstate, where she is most likely to be found on that same old porch, sipping coffee and birdwatching for as many hours as her son will allow.
